Comic Relief 2015

So Comic Relief is back for another year, but with a new title; Comic Relief: Face the Funny. This refers to the annual attempt to make your face ‘funny for money’. Comic Relief, or Red Nose Day, offer many ways to do this, including selling nine new red noses with each a different and unique facial expression. This year, the event was kicked off and presented by Davina McCall and Lenny Henry (the founder of Comic Relief), and it showed many new and familiar sketches including Little Britain, the return of Mr Bean and the reveal of the real voice of James Bond. New sketches include the search for this years national treasure lead by Stephen Fry alongside Sheridan Smith and Miranda Hart. There were also many successful fundraising attempts, lead by Dermot O’Leary as he danced for 24 straight, raising over £500,000! Lenny Henry, Richard Hammond and Steve Backshall were involved in ‘Operation Health’ where they completely renovated an old health centre in Uganda, and saved lots of peoples lives. David Walliams broke the world record for the most kisses received in 30 seconds, and a new sketch from the Vicar of Dibley made comic relief 2015 a night to remember...
